Mexican donuts, also known as donas, are a traditional type of Mexican sweet bread coated in cinnamon sugar. They have a light, fluffy texture and are perfect to enjoy with a cup of coffee.

- all-purpose flour - active dry yeast - ground cinnamon - sugar - salt - butter - eggs - milk - vanilla extract - oil
Make sure the eggs and butter are at room temperature.

Let dough rise to double in size. Then roll the dough and use donut cutter to cut out shapes. Allow to rest again before frying.

In a Dutch oven heat oil and carefully cook the donuts in batches until golden brown on both sides.

Mix the sugar and cinnamon to make the topping. After frying dip each side in the mixture and they are ready to enjoy!
