- beef chuck roast - potaotes - tomatoes - serrano - broth - onion - bay leaf - salt - pepper -garlic - cilantro - seasonings - potatoes
Season the beef with salt, pepper, garlic, and seasonings. Brown on all sides in a large pot with some olive oil.

Make the broth by blending tomatoes, garlic, onions, broth, serrano, and salt until smooth. Strain into the pot and add the bay leaf. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Stir in the potatoes and cook for an additional 25 minutes, until the potatoes and meat are tender.

Discard the bay leaf and stir in cilantro. Serve with rice and warm tortillas!
