Flan de Queso is a creamy, silky, decadent variation of traditional flan. Reminiscent of cheesecake in its smooth texture and is topped with a rich caramel sauce.
Let’s get started!
- sugar - sweetened condensed milk - evaporated milk - cream cheese - eggs - vanilla extract - water
If you can, allow the flan to set in the fridge for as long as possible.
*Quick Tip!*
Make the caramel sauce by stirring the sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Take the caramel off the heat and pour it into a round cake pan, evenly coating the bottom.
01
Blend the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, cream cheese, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Strain the flan mixture into the cake pan that the caramel has hardened in.
02
Cover the cake pan and place it in a baking dish. Pour 4 cups of boiling water into the pan. Bake for 1 hour until the flan is slightly jiggly.
03
Make sure the flan is properly cooled, then loosen the flan from the pan, and enjoy!
